The Project

Situated in the heart of Marylebone, London, 74 Wimpole Street is a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse with a history dating back to the 18th century. Install Projects were commissioned to transform the property into E11even Dentistry - a state-of-the-art private dental practice.

The refurbishment combined advanced clinical functionality with the elegance of a restored heritage building, creating a modern medical environment that complements its historic setting.

Scope of Work

Our team undertook the full plumbing and electrical fit-out as part of the comprehensive refurbishment. The challenge was to deliver a facility that met the rigorous demands of a contemporary dental practice, while remaining fully compliant with listed building regulations.

Key Deliverables

Electrical Installation: Full rewiring to accommodate advanced dental equipment, IT infrastructure and bespoke lighting systems.
Plumbing Systems: Medical-grade plumbing, including sterilisation areas, dental chair feeds, water filtration and suction systems.
Compliance: All work completed in line with CQC standards, BS7671 electrical regulations and HTM 01-05 healthcare guidelines.
Integration: Careful integration of new systems into the existing structure, with preservation of period features throughout.

Space Optimisation: Bespoke design and strategic service routing maximised clinical space, enhancing both workflow efficiency and patient comfort.
Noise & Vibration Control: Mechanical systems were isolated to prevent disruption to neighbouring properties and maintain a serene clinical atmosphere.
