Project Summary

Install Projects was selected to deliver the complete mechanical and electrical (M&E) fit-out for the refurbishment of four public toilet blocks across the Chichester district.

The goal: to upgrade essential facilities while improving long-term sustainability and energy performance.

Scope of Work

We provided a full M&E solution across all sites, tailored to meet modern public infrastructure standards.

Key services included:

Electrical Installation: Complete rewiring and installation of new power and lighting systems
Plumbing Works: Full replacement of water and waste pipework
Ventilation: Installation of mechanical extract systems for improved airflow and hygiene
Solar Panels: Solar systems installed at two locations, designed to offset energy use and reduce carbon output

Challenges & Approach

With four separate sites, careful project coordination was essential. Each location presented its own logistical challenges, including restricted space and the need to minimise disruption to the public.

We adopted a phased delivery plan and worked in close collaboration with council representatives throughout.

For the solar installation, our team developed bespoke mounting solutions and carried out a full integration with existing systems, ensuring long-term energy efficiency.
